Re: ConBasic- Hello World

If the program is looking for usb files, you are not compiling for C onBASIC. If that is your intention, the files won't be in the include path, which will need ./usb OK, I also see the installer for MakeItC is not copying those, I will update that. For now the files are below Not sure what the issu...

Re: Pong on an Alphanumeric Display

Nice little project. I would like to format this for a blog post on the site. And I pay a reward for blog posts. Pong, always popular, the first one I did was on an HP 2100 mini computer, driving an HP logic state analyzer in X-Y graphic mode. That was in the dark ages on the early 70s.

sprintf in simple C examples

gcc has a tendency to jump to conclusions about what will need to be linked in later. Often time that conclusion is some part of the linux library that is not compatible with the bare metal environment of embedded ARMs. One user added an sprintf statement to Hello_World.c and that caused an erroneou...

Re: DICE-R-deluxe

How about posting a schematic? PDF probably works best, you can print to a PDF using something like PDFlite if you don't have something else installed.

Re: Coming soon an LPC11U37 board

Fixed the schematic, thanks for checking.
BASIC does control UART0 by access to RXD(1) / TXD(1) because the USB serial port is the debug port, which for all our other products is treated as the serial 0 channel..

Yes a bit confusing, but that's the way it is.

Re: CONST errors

CONST names follow the same syntax as variable names.

In BASIC that means starting with letter or _ followed by letters, numbers or _

Few compilers if any I know of allow - (minus sign as a name). How would you ever know if it is a name or name - minus another_name.

Re: Firmware Update by serial port

I added the prompt for non-FTDI serial ports, which the LPC800 qualifies, so it should wait for you to hold the buttons down. When these ports are opened they are assigned as MANUAL control, but if you override that it won't prompt you. If you are using an FTDI cable or other non-Coridum dongle, it ...

Well without more info i don't know what you're doing wrong.

What board, which serial connection, and what step don't you see from above?

Re: Firmware Update by serial port

Next if you press RESET you should see the Welcome message. If you do not, then something went wrong, you should try again.
