54005 with mcufriend LCD - Display ID 0x7796

Good day. Bruce asked that I post my updated code, as I had to tweak it to get the display and touchscreen operable. I've the red mcufriend 3.5" touchscreen for Uno. Come to find out, they ship boards that have one of multiple different driver silicon thereon. Code for one might not work with others...

Re: Multi-tasking

Did you play around with this idea any further, Basicchip? Good day, BryantRen. Sir B has been very helpful in assisting me/us with implementing a working solution. After a couple of iterations of context switch code massages, it seems to be quite stable. I'm working on a couple of projects that wi...

Re: First Run Only Trigger?

...Another option is to write into unused Flash to keep track of number of times run. Yeah, figured that this might be the case. Does ARMbasic provide any framework for ISP/IAP to write to flash during runtime? I've seen some fwrite constructs in the help docs, but figured they were for devices wit...

I know one user wanted a more robust assembler and has linked the gcc assembler into BASICtools...Look forward to more details.
:) Details will be posted shortly. Thanks for the gentle nudge, kind sir.

A nice bit of progress in a short amount of time. Kudos. Speaking of time, and the accuracy of same, I note that either the forum server needs its time updated, or you're being hosted out in the middle of the Atlantic: https://i.imgur.com/IDpCoS3.png EDIT: Or is it my profile.?. EDIT 2: Nope,...

Re: ConBasic- Hello World

Well, it works: ARMbasic still in tact and the C app flashed and executes correctly (mostly - in that I too am seeing what Gary is - the lack of the verbose resumption dialog and exiting the while loop). Regardless, this is pretty friggin cool.

Re: ConBasic- Hello World

Ok, so I am messing around with MiC & ConBASIC. The end goal is to get Segger's RTT code installed on an Coridium ARMbasic Target. Reportedly, it is only ~500bytes so I feel it might be safe to do so and then make use of it with AB (after getting the ASM from the RTT code compilation effort). So I d...

Re: OEM driver use for on-chip peripherals

Nothing in particular, actually. I did this to blow the dust off of my gray matter, as it had been so long since I actively programmed embedded stuffs.

Also, it will be put to use this winter, as a debug tool, and possibly as a proper display if I gain traction on another project before spring.
