One issue when hooking an ARMweb to the Internet, is where is it?
The help files show numerous ways to find it on the local net, but the whole Internet is another story.
Unless you have a fixed IP address, this can be a problem. There are lots of sites that will report the client IP address, all too complex for the ARMweb to easily parse.
So I put a simple site that echoes back your IP. this can be used by the ARMweb to send an email when it changes for instance. So assuming your router allows port 80 requests through mapped to the ARMweb, you can talk to it from anywhere.
To find your IP.
basically miscellaneous, if it doesn't fit another sub-forum enter it here, we might even promote it to its own sub-forum
