We will continue to publish our BASIC compilers on the web for
download. You can use a Coridium hardware device any way you want,
even if you resell it as part of a product.
What we license is the BASIC firmware that is required on the ARM so
an ARMbasic program can be used. Where this comes into play is if
you like our BASIC, but want to use it on a board designed by someone
other than Coridium. The 2 categories are single user, that lets you
put that firmware on upto 10 devices, and commercial which allows you
to put it on upto 100 devices (for greater quantities contact us).
The same applies to C, in that you can develop a product using our
tools on our hardware, but go into production on your hardware. If
you use our tools/source we ask for a one time $500 license.
