LPC2106 BASIC firmware goes public

Post by basicchip » Sun Nov 11, 2012 8:19 pm

We had a request to update firmware for the ARMexpress, which while still available for OEMs has been dis-continued.

The LPC2106 was one of the first ARM chips NXP did, it has no ADs and some older peripherals. It is unlikely we will ever use it in a product again, with cheaper, faster alternatives.

So rather than go through the effort of building a FirmUp utility for it, the hex code is now in the public domain. The last version is 7.40 which is still an integer BASIC. The firmware file is attached to this post. The DOS command line update utility load21xx.exe can be found here
