Tahoe Vista, Calif. — Coridium Corp. has
introduced a wireless ARMmite development and connectivity board that
features a 32-bit processor and embedded Bluetooth and Zigbee
communications protocols, packaged in a 2 x 3-inch footprint.
Connecting from the PC using a USB or wireless port, ARMmite users
create code using their BASIC programs. The programming is processed at
a rate of more than 10 million instructions per second, and compiled
according to ARM instructions.
The ARMmite provides 12K for user code, 6K for
variables and a 20K library supporting SPI, 12C, 1-Wire, and ASYNC
protocols. Users download their programming to the computer board. The
ARMexpress controller offers an industrial-standard form factor with 16
digital I/O, and an easy-to-use BASIC interface.
